ACHONRY AND ELPHIN PILGRIMAGE TO ROME

Some images from the recent pilgrimage made by forty-six people from the dioceses of Achonry and Elphin.  The group, led by Frs Tom Hever and Vincent Sherlock, spent six days in Rome, taking in many of the important sites associated with the story of our Faith. 

The days also allowed for entering the Holy Doors at the Basilicas of St Mary Major, St John Lateran, St Paul Outside the Walls and St Peter.

The beginning of this clip is backed by a recording of Evening Prayer, attended by some of the pilgrims, in an enclosed Augustinian Community of Female Religious.
